signal from controller and then output action to increase or decrease engine
running speed. The

The
work principle of actuator
Take LiuGong CLG922 excavator engine
actuator for example, we explain the principle. The next photo shows the diagramed
of this control system. Operator turn engine speed dial to a certain position.
Then main controller receives the signal from engine speed dial. Then main
controller output a signal to actuator controller. Finally, actuator controller
output a certain voltage(4~24V) to drive a motor of actuator. Then the motor pull
accelerate lever on engine fuel high pressure injection pump. The engine
changes the running speed. What is more, there is a feedback information from
actuator to controller by a Slip resistance. When motor engage in work, the Slip
resistance change and controller capture this information.

How to test a excavator engine speed
actuator?
We can know from the working principle that there is a Slip
resistance and a motor inside actuator. So we only need to test the resistant
and work condition of driving motor.
