Excavator controller is the brain of the machine. All the machine
status collect by sensor and transport to controller by electrical signal. Take
LiuGong excavator CLG922D controller for example, The following show the photo of electrical main controller. and also a part of diagram show

How to test a excavator controller? Is there any special tool to test
controller?To be a field service man for 10 years, I do not use any special tool
to test the controller. I often use a simple way to judge whether the
controller is in good condition. For example, if this LiuGong CLG922LC
excavator engine can not turn to “idle speed” after operator stop operating for
5 seconds. I will first test 471# and 472# wire to confirm what is the
electrical from sensor.
The second , test the 401# 404# and confirm what kind of electrical
voltage or current output from the controller.
What is more, LiuGong excavator controller have three LED lamp to
show working status.
